I was sick of the flimsy plastic coffee stirrers that we had in the office, so I ordered some wooden ones from a local office supply store that rhymes with Maples, but they were too short for travel mugs, and had splinters and sawdust on them (ouch! yuck!). I was considering giving up coffee entirely or, God forbid, going "black" so I didn't have to stir at all, but then I found these beauties.The first thing I noticed was that they come in a box that opens into a dispenser at the bottom, so it's perfect for our coffee station at the office. Then, once you have the box open, you see that these are no ordinary coffee stirrers - they are a thing of beauty. 7.5" long, these are plenty long to reach down to the bottom of a good-sized travel mug without wetting your fingers. They are cleanly cut, with no splinters and no mouth-full of sawdust to detract from their awesomeness. I can sit back, close my eyes, and stir my coffee while imagining that I'm in a high-end cafe in Paris, stirring my coffee within sight of the Tour Eiffel.These are also perfect for making "coffee stirrer stars" (search Google for instructions).I will never go back to cheap plastic or balsa wood coffee stirrers. This item is exactly what it should be, a good quality wood stirrer. It does not bend in the coffee and the box was shipped un-damaged and I have not found a single broken or splintered stick. All in all very satisfied with product.

I was looking for stir sticks for my morning coffee so I wasn't going through spoons so fast. These are exactly what I was looking for, they are a bit longer than I need but will fit nicely in my travel mug if I need to use it. They are wood which I feel better about than plastic, relatively sturdy and didn't have any splinters or crazy rough edges.
